Two rolls and two capsuled coins in one boxed set.

Each Colorized Special Wrap Roll adds 25 colorful commemorative $2 coins to your collection, but with this Special Wrap Roll Set, you get TWO different versions of the 50th Anniversary of the CN Tower coin: one Colorized Special Wrap Roll, and one Special Wrap Roll of 25 non-colorized coins. Inside the presentation box, your two rolls come nestled in a custom foam insert alongside two encapsulated coins (one of each version)—a new addition that makes it easier for you to view the designs and put either side of the coin on display.

This Special Wrap Roll Box Set in this specific format and packaging is limited to 5,000 sets worldwide. The total production of the colorized Special Wrap Rolls is 25,000 and the non-colorized Special Wrap Rolls is 15,000. (Rolls also available individually.)

Toronto’s changing skyline is represented by the silhouettes engraved on the outer ring, while within the core design, the 1976 cityscape stands in the shadow of today’s taller skyscrapers.

Each coin included in the Special Wrap Roll has a reverse and obverse design. The production process and quality assurance for uncirculated Special Wrap Rolls allows for either the reverse design on both ends, or the reverse design on one end and the obverse on the other. It is not possible for the Mint to guarantee or foresee which of the two versions will be shipped.

Designed by Canadian illustrator Carl Wiens, the coin’s reverse commemorates the 50th anniversary (“50 YEARS ANS”) of the official opening of the CN Tower (“LA TOUR CN TOWER”) on June 26, 1976. The inner core features a view of the CN Tower overlooking Lake Ontario and dominating a contemporary downtown Toronto skyline, whose tall skyscrapers tower above an outline of the city’s skyline as it appeared in 1976. Additional silhouettes on the outer ring represent five decades of growth and architectural evolution, with the skyline in 1976 appearing on the left and the 2026 cityscape on the right—a visual record of Toronto’s transformation into a modern, world-class city. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
